Mine is pageflakes at the moment - I use it as my start page and have been experimenting with exporting flakes into my Moodle LMS. It works well and adds some nice functionality to my courses, such as video feeds and checklists for curriculum.
I have seen (but not used) netvibes but not seen yourminis yet. Will take a look.
It is so hard these days to keep track and try all the goodies on the net. How do you keep up with it all Terrence?
One day I will try and pen my own flakes. First I am trying to learn how to write OSX widgets using javascript - it looks easy and my students will enjoy a practical aspect to programming.
Hi,
I'm Katrin, an English teacher from Estonia. I've also discovered Netvibes and Pageflakes recently and enjoy the last one tremendously. Going to start an open course there some day...
I love the mashup too netvibes, pageflakes, but my favorite is googles igoogle page since I use google as my main browser it kills two birds with one stone.
I am looking forward to when Netvibes makes it possible for individual users to create a "universe". I think every teacher should create their own netvibes universe for their class.
